Premier Safety Consulting Training
P001D - Safety Instrumented and Critical Control Systems
Houston, TX / Irvine, CA
A professional development course in safety engineering presented by Premier Safety Consulting (PSC).
Course Objectives
This 1-day introductory course to Safety Integrity Levels (SIL) and Quantitative Risk Assessment (QRA) is directed at Safety Instrumented Systems (SIS) and Critical Controls in the process industry. The course focuses on the application of quantitative assessment and QRA to meet the recent industrial standards, such as ANSI/ISA S84.01 Safety Integrity Levels (SIL) and IEC- 61508/ 61511 . On successful completion of this course the student will have attained an understanding of how they can meet current standards by:
- Assigning appropriate safety integrity levels.
- Assessing the risks and reliability performance of their system.
Who Should Attend?
