IPS’s Real Time Finance solution provides an effective application that operates between the plant floor automation systems and any major ERP system. Real Time Finance completes the bottom to top real time financial system executives of industrial companies have been longing for and provides management level real time business intelligence.  

IPS’s Real Time Finance (RTF) solution is based on a packaged composite application (PCA) developed by IPS to run within SAP’s MII application environment. This application is designed to acquire the real time accounting information from the installed Dynamic Performance Measures (DPM) in the plant automation systems, to acquire cost, price and other relevant data from the installed ERP system (either SAP or other) and to produce financial information, such as contribution margin, burdened costs and where appropriate price. The RTF application generates real time balanced scorecards and other management displays to provide every manager and supervisor in the plant with the real time information they required to make positive operational decisions and drive business performance improvements.
