Your Reliable, Technologically Superior, Cost Effective I/O Solution.
With thousands of field-proven installations, our clients have maximized their installation savings, achieved greater performance & throughput, & lowered their field wiring costs with our redundant Ethernet Fieldbus Network.
200 Series Fieldbus modules (FBMs) are rugged, high-performance, distributed process I/O designed for all process control tasks, providing for process management and control of continuous, batch, & discrete control schemes. Experience increased reliability with optionally redundant I/O modules, communications & power, plant-wide integration of data via our Field Device System Integrators (FDSI), & Intelligent Fieldbus technology with HART, FF, Profibus (+more) support.
- High performance, high accuracy, fast updates
- Reduced component count, for ultra-high reliability & quality
- Environmental ruggedness
- Distributed local &/or remote I/O
- Power distribution security
- Electrical isolation & field device power
Easy Installation. Designed for highly distributed applications, 200 Series FBMs can be located best suited to the application - in the control room or in the field. Our innovative compact packaging reduces the physical space required in the control room and when distributed to the field, dramatically reduces the cost of field wiring. Din rail mounting allows for flexible, remote mounting & compatibility with your 3rd party solutions. Built-in isolation, optical fiber support & many termination assembly options contributes to easy installation & field wiring support.
Field Device Integration. Invensys offers a variety of methods to integrate field devices into the I/A Series system. In addition to the custom drivers for specific third-party industrial devices, standard OPC client interfaces are available to support obtaining information from these devices and the OPC server interface is available to enable other hosts to obtain information from the I/A Series object manager and from AIM*Historian software.
We have also worked with suppliers of popular control system devices to tightly integrate these systems to the I/A Series Nodebus Control Network. Integration of Allen Bradley plc and Triconex Safety Systems are examples of this capability.
