Q. Where can I park?
If driving to the Training Centre please park in the Invensys car park and ensure that your car registration is advised when reporting to reception.
Q. What are the security procedures at Invensys?
Having reported to reception, on the first day you will be met by your Instructor who will run through security procedures. Only access to authorised areas is permitted.
Q. Can I smoke during breaks?
Yes, but only outside as the building is non-smoking, due to UK smoking laws.
Q. What are the training hours for the courses?
Monday 10.00 hours and the rest of the week 9.00 hours.
Lunch is from 12.30 to 13.30 hours. Finish time is normally 16.30 hours. On Friday, an earlier departure may be arranged if previously discussed with the Instructor.
Please note that courses less than 5 days normally start on the Tuesday.
Q. Are refreshments provided as well as a meal?
Yes; Tea, coffee and chilled water are provided. Lunch is served in a separate room, in the form of a buffet. NB: Vegetarian meals can be made available if previously requested.

(The training centre actually offers courses from several Invensys companies e.g. Avantis, Foxboro, SimSci, Triconex, etc).
Q. What can I do in the evening during my stay?
There are many good restaurants and bars in Crawley and some of these are within walking distance from hotels such as the Holiday Inn at Langley and the Ramada.
Other local attractions within walking distance of the Holiday Inn include the Hollywood Ten-Pin Bowling & UGC Multi-Screen Cinema.
Q What weekend entertainment is available?
London is quickly accessible by Gatwick Express train (much quicker than the standard train service or indeed by car).
Brighton is also easily accessible, by train or by car.
